Fred M. Mehring

Fred M. Mehring has personally sold over 330 businesses since 1983 in Colorado and is the owner and principal Broker of Select Business Group (SBG), Inc. He is experienced in small business consulting, business valuation, partnership dissolutions, preparation of businesses for sale, and other issues in the sale and purchase of businesses and real estate. Fred was a past VP of Education for the Colorado Association of Business Intermediaries (CABI). Fred Mehring is recognized as an expert witness in small business valuation and litigation. Prior to being a Business Intermediary, Fred’s career was in the financial and management areas. He was a financial analyst and assistant controller for a Canadian Real Estate Development Company in New York City. He also worked as a controller and in finance.

Fred believes in a win-win environment for the Seller and Purchaser in transactions.

Fred has been married to Margaret for 37 years whom also works at SBG. Their 2 children are now young adults and we like the empty nester life. Fred enjoys skiing, working out, reading, being active at church, hiking and a good meal with family or friends.
